What is Youth Ventures?
Youth Ventures is a summer entrepreneurship program (May - August) that assists youth (aged 29 and under) in starting and growing small business ventures!
In the past 34 years, we've supported over 9000 entrepreneurs in starting or developing over 5000 businesses in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Our priority is your business success!
What Support is Available?
Through Youth Ventures, aspiring entrepreneurs can receive the following support from their coordinator:
- Idea Generation (help brainstorming a business idea)
- 1:1 Business Counselling (providing advice, support, and guidance)
- Marketing & Promotion (help grow and scale the business)
- Product Pricing (help determine the price of the product/service)
- Opportunities to Sell (access to local markets and businesses)
- Access to Financing (connection to local CBDC for financing opportunities)
- Mentorship (connection to industry-relevant mentors)
- Awards (eligible to be nominated for our annual awards ceremony)
- and More!
Who is Eligible?
There are only 2 eligibility criteria for the Youth Ventures program!
1. You are a youth (aged 29 and under).
2. You are living in Newfoundland & Labrador.
If you said "yes" to both of these questions, you are eligible for the Youth Ventures program!
