What does entrepreneurship mean to you?
Entrepreneurship to me means that you take your creativity to create something that others around you will enjoy.
What is the coolest business you heard of?
There are so many small businesses here in Newfoundland that are so cool but the coolest would have to be Underground Snacks.
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
I am looking forward to talking to youth about the Youth Ventures program and hopefully encouraging them to become a young entrepreneur.
What are some interesting business opportunities you see in your region?
I see many opportunities for homemade household items and wood working.
What do youth in NL need to know about Youth Ventures?
That they can come to us with or without an idea and we can help in any way we can to get their small business up and running.
What is a piece of advice you have for people of any age who are considering starting a business?
To never give up on something you want, just because it doesn’t work the first time doesn’t mean it won’t the second time. Determination is key.
