What are some of your favourite hobbies?  

I really enjoy sports and the outdoors, hockey, soccer, hiking and camping 

What’s your favourite movie?  

Captain America: The First Avenger 

What is your favourite band/artist?  

Kane Brown 

What is your favourite restaurant?  

Boston Pizza, I enjoy being able to sit and watch different hockey, basketball and baseball games while eating 

Do you have any pets? 

1 Dog  

What is a fun fact about you?  

I plan on going on to pursue my CPA license after I graduate from Grenfell Campus next spring if all goes to plan. 

What’s one local business you admire? Why do you admire it? 

Freestyle source for sports, because I remember going there every year as a kid having to buy new sports equipment for the different sports I participated in and it has survived even with other sports stores in Corner Brook such as Sportchek. 

What does entrepreneurship mean to you?   

Having the ability to start your own business, be independent and adaptable to different situations. It also means that you have the ability to think outside the box and come up with ideas others wouldn’t think about. 

What are you looking forward to most this summer?  

Hiking the Gros Morne Mountain Trail. 

What are some interesting business opportunities you see in your region?  

Sports and Outfitting or tourism could do very well as there are many different hunting areas, as well as different hiking and mountain biking trails in this region. 

What do youth in NL need to know about Youth Ventures?  

Youth ventures is a very accessible, helpful and capable program with a large amount of resources that has the ability to help a youth bring their business idea to life 

What is a piece of advice you have for people of any age who are considering starting a business? 

Just go for it, you may not be successful the first time but with every attempt you will learn very important lessons.
