Meet Your Coordinator: Danielle Burden – Rising Sun Developers Inc.

  • The coolest business I`ve heard of is Conscious Step. It`s a sock company that fights for a cause. They donate their profits to causes UNAIDS, Action Hunger, and so many more.

  • I`m looking forward to helping as many youth as I can start their own business.

What are some interesting business opportunities you see in your region?

  • I know in my region there is nothing that has to do with cosmetics or esthetics, so a makeup artist or nail artist business would definitely thrive here.

What do youth in NL need to know about Youth Ventures?

  • Newfoundland has great potential for youth who start their own businesses. Having resources like Youth Ventures to help you along the way just makes it all the more better. Youth Ventures is here to help you right from the start, whether it`s coming up with a business idea, funding, or even just advertisement.

What is the most important thing people of any age who want to start a business need to know?

  • It`s an adventure. You`ll learn so much from it and it`s empowering to be your own boss.

How can people get in touch with you if they’d like to talk about starting a business?
