I am based out of the Trinity Conception region (Carbonear)!
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
I love hiking, reading, cooking, and playing music.
What’s your favourite movie?
That is definitely a tough one… It’s a hard tie between Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back and Jurassic Park.
What is your favourite band?
They’ve got a funny name but a lot of heart: Rainbow Kitten Surprise. The Lumineers is up there too.
What is your favourite restaurant?
My favourite restaurant has got to be Subway.
Do you have any pets?
Sure do! 2 dogs, 6 chickens, and a cat.
What does entrepreneurship mean to you?
To me, entrepreneurship means growth and inspiration. It means molding a thought into something that is both tactile and something that you can call your own.
What is the coolest business you heard of?
I definitely think board game cafes are the coolest.
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
More than anything I’m looking forward to giving those who need it, the tools and motivation to pursue their small business venture. I want to see you succeed!
What are some interesting business opportunities you see in your region?
The last couple of years have seen a huge increase in small businesses popping up in the downtown area of Carbonear. I think they’re all unique and fun in their own way!
What do youth in NL need to know about Youth Ventures?
Youth Ventures is an incredible program for aspiring individuals 12- 29 who want to develop their skills as an entrepreneur. It is the perfect program for any young person looking to start their own business.
What is the most important thing people of any age who want to start a business need to know?
Don’t worry about whether or not you have an idea. If you want to start a business, we can help you make it a reality!
