 Kayla Power

What are some of your favourite hobbies?
Playing and watching sports, going on walks/hikes, watching netflix and hanging out with friends

What’s your favourite movie?
Instant Family

What is your favourite band?
I don’t really have a favourite band, but my favourite genre of music to listen to would have to be country

What is your favourite restaurant? Jungle Jim’s

Do you have any pets?
I do not

What does entrepreneurship mean to you?
It means taking something you love to do, and coming up with a way to make money doing it. 

What is the coolest business you heard of?
I would have to say 3D Portrait Prints

What are you looking forward to most this summer?
Meeting with the youth in my community and helping them come up with ideas to start a business and help them start and follow their journeys

What are some interesting business opportunities you see in your region?
Childcare services, lawn care, homemade art, clothing brand, and dog services.

What do youth in NL need to know about Youth Ventures?
Youth Ventures is an amazing opportunity for youth, it can help you transform a hobby of yours into a business where you can make money. 

What is the most important thing people of any age who want to start a business need to know?
The business you want to start should be something that you like to do or that you are good at doing, starting and maintaining a business is not easy but if you are doing something you love it can make those harder times a little easier.
