What is a fun fact about you?
I participated in Youth Ventures when I was 11 years old, they helped me start my very first business where I sold Iceberg Ice to the community.

What does entrepreneurship mean to you?
To me, entrepreneurship is when an individual(s) takes the initiative, puts in the hard work, generates ideas where they then can develop a new business idea, essentially turning a seed of an idea into a grown flower.

What is the coolest business you heard of?
In my opinion the coolest business I have heard of Is called “15 Willow Co”. This business was developed in September 2020 by a close friend of mine. It started as a small idea where he would sell only plain t-shirts with a printed picture of his own family’s couch as the logo. He did not believe would reach such remarkable levels of success but not even a year later, he has expanded his business to a variety of different colors as well as implementing hoodies, crewnecks, crop hoodies, hats and more into his merchandise lineup.

What are you looking forward to most this summer?

This summer I am mostly looking forward to inspiring the youth in the community to take the initiative and develop their own summer job while learning the extensive opportunities it comes with, as well as getting to know my fellow co-workers that will eventually turn into life-long friends.

What are some interesting business opportunities you see in your region?
In this region, an interesting business opportunity I see could possibly be a large are where children and adults can go where they offer a number of activities such as a swimming pool, dog park, playground, walking trails, restaurant and many more all within the same facility.

What do youth in NL need to know about Youth Ventures?
The youth needs to know that Youth Ventures is not here entirely just to promote the association or get youth started on becoming entrepreneurs. Youth Ventures are also here to aid in idea generation, support, promotion, assistance with mentoring and training as well as many more.

What is a piece of advice you have for people of any age who are considering starting a business?
A piece of advice that I was told that had always helped was that no idea is too simple, too complex, not good enough or impossible. All ideas are great ideas and all ideas can be turned into rewarding opportunities if you are willing to work hard enough to get there.

How can people get in touch with you if they’d like to talk about starting a business?
They can get in touch with me through my personal email at:, my work email at:, as well as my phone number 1(709)-212-1352.
