What are some of your favourite hobbies? 

I love anything to do with the outdoors. The activities I enjoy most are side by side, quad, and skidooing.

Fast and the Furious Series  

What is your favourite band/artist?  

Luke Bryan  

What is your favourite restaurant? 

Pizza Delight  

Do you have any pets?  

A cat named Nala  

Two dogs named Tye and Trixie  

What is a fun fact about you? 

I love helping and watching people succeed.  

What’s one local business you admire? Why do you admire it? 

Shagg Clothing. I admire this local business because I live by an island named Shagg Island, so this brand of clothing represents the island surrounding my community.  

What does entrepreneurship mean to you?  

Entrepreneurship means starting up a business to meet the demand of the economy while supplying yourself and others with financial need.  

What are you looking forward to most this summer?  

Interacting with youth while attending events in my region. I am also looking forward to helping youth start their own small business while doing something they love.  

What are some interesting business opportunities you see in your region? 

The Farm and Market and Craft Fairs are popular events in my region for entrepreneurs to showcase their business and sell their products.  

What do youth in NL need to know about Youth Ventures? 

Youth need to be aware of the Youth Ventures Program and get involved by attending our upcoming events. Youth need to know, we as coordinators are here to help them start up their own small business. This is the perfect opportunity for youth to get involved while doing a hobby they enjoy, socialize in their community, and make money this summer. 

What is a piece of advice you have for people of any age who are considering starting a business? 

Just go for it! It could be the best decision of your life. Becoming an entrepreneur could potentially change your life for the better. If it does not work out grow from the experience to improve. If you fail never give up, your opportunity will come. You are not considered a failure for trying this just makes you stronger to fight for your goals to accomplish them when it is meant to be.
