In celebration of another successful Youth Ventures season, Youth Ventures is hosting a provincial Night Market! Join us on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 4:00pm-9:00pm at the St. John’s Farmers’ Market located at 245 Freshwater Road.

Please note vendors who sell food and or food products must have a temporary food license through Service NL. Forms can be found online at www.servicenl.gov.nl.ca/licenses/env_health/index.html. Temporary food license forms must be emailed to EHAA@gov.nl.ca for approval.
When is the deadline to register as a vendor?
The deadline to register as a vendor is Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Registration will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
How much does it cost to register?
Registration is free for young entrepreneurs (29 & under), Youth Ventures alumni and community organizations.
What does registration include?
Registration includes one (1) table, six feet in length, and two (2) chairs. Vendors must bring their own electrical equipment and tablecloth.
Where is the YV Night Market taking place?
The Youth Ventures Night Market will take place at the St. John’s Farmers’ Market located at 245 Freshwater Road, from 4:00pm-9:00pm. Depending on the volume of registrations and the type of vendors, vendors may be located both inside and outside in the venue parking lot.
Is the venue accessible?

Are there any products that are restricted from the YV Night Market?
At this time, we cannot accept MLM business models, direct selling, and the resale of licensed products. In addition, products with open flames, alcohol, cannabis, or any drug-related paraphernalia cannot be sold at t the YV Night Market.
Vendor Set up/Take down
Vendor set up is between 2:00pm-3:45pm on Tuesday, August 23.
Vendor take down will be from 9:00pm-9:30 pm on Tuesday, August 23.
We kindly ask all vendors to be respectful of the vendor set up and take down times. Dismantling of vendor booths is not permitted until the market closing time (9:00pm).
Can I take down my booth before the market closes?
Youth Ventures kindly requests that all vendors remain at the YV Night Market for the duration of the market, from 4:00pm-9:00pm. Exceptions may be given to food vendors who sell out of product.
Where can I park as a vendor and / or consumer on the day of the market?
Parking is available in the Terra Nova Road Lot, street parking, and in the vendor spaces in front of Market. Please note that parking in the Freshwater lot before 4:30 pm is strictly prohibited and may result in ticketing/towing at the discretion of the City.
I have completed the Vendor registration form, what happens next?
A Youth Ventures representative will contact you to confirm your registration. Vendors will receive a market map identifying where their display will be located at the market prior to the market date. As a friendly reminder, vendors are required to bring their own tablecloths and electrical equipment if needed.
I can no longer attend the market, who should I contact?
In the event you are no longer able to attend the market as a vendor, please inform the Youth Ventures Provincial Coordinator as soon as possible via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or via telephone 709.745.4406 ext. 202.
