Here’s Courtney’s story…
In the Beginning
Courtney wanted to work in a quieter, more relaxing environment. Her solution? Opening her own salon! With the help of her father, she fabricated her own salon space and made her dream a reality!
Why Entrepreneurship?
Starting Beauty by Courtney gave Courtney the freedom she was looking for to have a more balanced lifestyle between working hours.
Courtney has all the expertise to offer her clients a wide variety of services like: Teeth whitening, Lash Lift & Tinting, Pedicures, Ear Candling, Haircuts, Styles, and Colours. Owning and operating her own salon means that Courtney can also offer these services at a great price point!
Making it Happen with Youth Ventures
Courtney joined Youth Ventures in July 2021. They helped her start her business by educating her on what steps to take, and by helping her overcome some of her biggest challenges, like getting a permit for her salon from the town.
What’s Next
Courtney hopes to expand to offer even more services in the future. For Courtney, her success comes from always striving to make her clients happy with the services they receive!
Moment of Reflection
Courtney’s advice for young entrepreneurs like herself is: “Don’t give up, your hard work will pay off!”
